Angie Vorhies

Journalist

Angie Vorhies is an independent radio producer based in San Diego and Los Angeles, who believes in the power of connecting people through stories.

Through her studies at The Center for Documentary Studies at Duke and UnionDocs in Brooklyn, she is producing a podcast that explores the individual citizen’s role in modern democracy.


A poet, translator, and co-founder of San Diego Roots, an educational, sustainable agriculture non-profit, her work has appeared in Poetry International, Orion Magazine, About Place Journal, and The Conversations Across Borders Project.
